Great food. I’ve been waiting for some good Caribbean cooking in the area. This spot is the best out of the ones in this area. Food is seasoned and spicy enough but not to kick you in the face. Rice is not dry like other places. They aren’t cheap with the sauces. Go for oxtail gravy. Lunch special is $8 all in. I went for the jerk chicken got 2 drums and a small thigh with rice and gravy plus coleslaw. Post COVID. Go support a local small business in this food court.
Ordered curried goat, which was a soft as butter and SO well seasoned, with fluffy rice and beans, along with a salad with mango pineapple dressing that was so zesty and refreshing. Washed it down with ginger beer. 10 out 10. Portion size was good value! Will deffo go back...
Pleasantly surprised to have stumbled across some good jerk chicken (had oxtail gravy on the rice) and wow they do it good here. During the week they have a jerk 9.99 lunch special (I believe) and it is definitely good to resolve your cravings with just enough food imo. Comes with coleslaw or maybe that was an option either way it was a decent coleslaw to go with the meal. Overall pretty good I’ll def run it back when I’m in the area solid 4/5
I had this tonight for dinner after hemming and hawing for literally years lol. I wish i tried them sooner. I ordered the small mixed? Chicken meal and tried their fried chicken and jerk chicken. I got plain rice with chicken curry gravy and a side salad. The fried chicken was great! So well seasoned and delicious. Nice crunchy skin too! The jerk chicken was beautiful. It was smoky and well seasoned too. I am in love. Everything was flavorful and delicious. Next time, i need to try their house made scotch bonnet pepper sauce and oxtail! The portions are big. I had leftovers! The server was really friendly and helpful. Its shocking to me that small businesses now charge less than fast food. If u guys r ever in the neighborhood, they r right next to popeyes. Eat here instead!!
